Across eight weeks, a group of men at HMP Grendon were led through an ‘Introduction to Script Writing’ course led by professional writers Martha Watson Allpress (Lyric Hammersmith, Channel 5) and Jessica Norman (Arcola Theatre, Hampstead Theatre).

The project culminated in a rehearsed reading of the men’s work, performed by professional actors, to an audience of staff, residents and invited guests.
